22nd Annual Senior Expo

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bethany Wesleyan Church 675 Blue Mountain Drive, Cherryville

More than 70 exhibitors from state and local agencies, businesses and other organizations will be on hand to provide information and answer questions importance to seniors. Free health screenings, including vision screening, balance screening and blood pressure will also be offered. The expo is free to attend and light refreshments will be available.

New this year is the CarFit program, a free, interactive and educational program designed to improve older driver safety by providing information on minor adjustments that can help a senior’s vehicle “fit” better. Child safety seat checks will also be offered to make sure any grandchildren are safe. Both of these programs are free and walk-ins are welcome; however, pre-registration by contacting Mildred Ozoa at the Bethlehem Health Bureau at (484) 239-2890 is encouraged. Free Flu shots will also be available, assuming there are no delays in manufacturing.
