Wine and Spirits Store Re-Opens in Hummelstown
Wine and Spirits Store Re-Opens in Hummelstown
Back in May, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) announced it would be closing the Fine Wine and Good Spirits Premium Collection store located in the Hershey Square Shopping Center in Hummelstown for remodeling. I received several inquiries about the store’s abrupt closure, so I am pleased to announce the new store reopened on Monday, Oct. 3, in the same location near Kmart with some major upgrades.
I attended the grand re-opening ceremony to check the updated space. The new store features about 7,500 feet of retail space and a broad variety of wines and spirits, including Premium Collection luxury items, the popular Chairman’s Selection wines and a prominent section dedicated to Pennsylvania-made wines and spirits. I joined PLCB officials at the grand opening event, and gave some brief remarks about the newly updated store.
Additionally, recent changes to Pennsylvania’s Liquor Code, which I supported, passed by the General Assembly. These changes allowed for expanded state store hours on Sundays and holidays. The Hummelstown store will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
